The Role
Behind every load moved, contract executed, and customer order fulfilled is a financial reality that must be measured accurately and understood quickly.
We are seeking a Senior Cost Accountant who can turn complexity into clarity. This is a business-facing position responsible for helping leadership understand where costs originate, why variances occur, how inventory moves through the business, and what the numbers are telling us about operational performance.
You will work closely with your team and partners to ensure accurate costing, inventory valuation, margin visibility, financial reporting, and operational decision support. The ideal candidate enjoys digging into data, identifying root causes, building reliable reporting processes, and providing insights that drive better business decisions.
This is a high-ownership opportunity within a rapidly scaling organization. We are looking for someone who can operate independently, improve existing processes, and build financial infrastructure that supports continued growth.
The Problem We Are Solving
As our business grows in volume, complexity, and geographic reach, the financial systems that support decision-making must evolve alongside it.
Cost accounting is no longer simply about recording transactions. Leadership needs timely visibility into inventory movements, margins, operational efficiency, variances, and profitability. The challenge is creating reliable financial information across thousands of transactions, multiple operational touchpoints, and growing datasets while maintaining accuracy and control.
The person in this role helps transform data into actionable business intelligence. They understand where costs are generated, where processes can improve, and how to build reporting that scales with a fast-growing global business.
What You Will Own

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes to support timely and accurate financial reporting.
